April 30, 2008
AVSG has now completed the audiovisual requirements for the prestigious Dorrance H. Hamilton Center at Thomas Jefferson University. Dorrance H. Hamilton Building was the first major structure planned at Jefferson in 15 years. The facility is one of the nation’s first centers for interdisciplinary health instruction.
The Center houses the Dr. Robert and Dorothy Rector Clinical Skills Center, the focus for innovative medical education. The two-floor training operation, featuring virtual diagnostic and surgical suites, is a vast expansion of Jefferson’s current clinical skills center.
The audiovisual project includes a state-of-the-art main auditorium containing multiple high resolution projectors for distance learning and telemedicine applications, the latest in information digital signage, over 50 classrooms with the most technologically advanced audiovisual presentation systems and in-house paging and intercom system.
