Phase I : needs assessment and requirements analysis

Needs assessment and requirements analysis is the in-depth examination of the client's audio and video needs. While preliminary needs may have been outlined with an architect, additional discussion with AVSG refines specific requirements that greatly impact final audio video designs. The design team includes AVSG Team Members. At the end of this phase they will produce a preliminary bill-of-material and architectural considerations for the project.

Phase II : preliminary design process

The preliminary design is the initial engineering design developed around the deliverables from PHASE-I. AVSG engineers develop, design and specify details of the audio and video systems conduit and electrical power requirements for each room, area or project wide system. The preliminary design process involves close communication with all design team members to assure our design is meeting with the architect's design and the construction parameters. From the preliminary design deliverables, the client is able to acquire quotes from electrical, HVAC and other contractors.

Phase III : final design process

The final audio and video systems designs are adapted from the PHASE-II documents and drawings. Upon completion of these final adaptations, the final diagrams, renderings, bill of material and pricing are prepared.

Phase IV : in-shop fabrication, integration and testing

AVSG builds and tests all equipment racks and control racks in our integration facilities. All required communication lines are connected to the rack assemblies to simulate the clients' conditions. Control programs are tested to ensure that components are controllable from the remote control touch screen panels. The goal is to eliminate as many variables as possible prior to the equipment arriving on site so the time required for installation on site is minimized.

Phase V : field installation

AVSG's installation process incorporates all elements necessary to professionally execute the final audio and video systems designs. A project manager is assigned to coordinate all aspects of the installation and is responsible for communication to the client and other contractors. Fully trained audio and video technicians execute the staging and installation of components and racks on-site. Disruption to the client site is kept to a minimum. When necessary, the project manager will document all change orders against the final design and final bill-of-material.

Phase VI: training, warranty service and maintenance

The training, warranty and maintenance services provided with each installation assure that the client has all information necessary to understand, utilize and maintain the systems and components. Training and training manuals assure that users understand the basics of the systems and components. A coordinated maintenance plan assures the equipment and systems will remain operational.
